Title of article: 09. Teaching methods of elective subject of mathematics for high school students
Summary: Abstract: This paper briefs elective subjects teaching in the world and in Vietnam. Based on contents analysis of elective subject, the article proposes some measures to improve efficiency of elective subject teaching of mathematics towards developing the positive and autonomy in learning for high school students, namely applying differentiated teaching, designing self-learning materials of math, promoting the interest in learning math, choosing appropriate topics. These measures were analyzed with clear illustrations and pedagogical explanations with aim to apply easily in teaching mathematics at high school.
