Title of article: 16. CURRICULUM AT UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION: TEACHING FOR EXAMINATION OR FOR SOCIAL SERVICES?
Summary: Abstract: Teaching staff plays the decisive role in education reform, including teaching method innovation. To fulfil the fundamental and comprehensive education reform, teaching staff must be equipped not only knowledge but also professional skills. However, training teachers at pedagogical universities in Vietnam is far from requirements of society. Curricula at pedagogical universities are more theoretical instead of self-learning and to research. Therefore, it is necessary to chang an exam and role-based education and the pedagogical universities must do first and share with society.
