Summary: Abstract: Children’s folk songs – as well as other genres of folklore such as legends, tales, and proverbs, etc. have been mentioned much by researchers. In this article, author focuses the roles of children’s folk songs in the cognitive development of preschoolers in term of language, the aesthetic and sense of beauty.
